오는 6월 5일(목) 개막하는 북서울미술관 ‘회화 반격’ 시리즈 어린이⁺ 전시 《크리스찬 히다카: 하늘이 극장이 되고, 극장이 하늘에 있으니》 아티스트 토크에서는 시각 예술, 특히 회화의 역사에서 동시대 회화가 갖는 특이점과 관련해 이야기를 나눕니다. 크리스찬 히다카, 안토니 보딘, 아키라 타니구치가 함께 한국에 머물며 진행한 대규모 벽화 작업을 포함해 그의 이번 전시의 신작에 대한 소개를 듣고, 나아가 미래를 향한 작가의 실천적 태도를 공유하고자 합니다. 신청은 서울시립미술관 공식 홈페이지를 통해 선착순 모집 진행됩니다. 많은 관심과 참여 바랍니다.

Artist Talk-Christian Hidaka: Theatres of the Sky, Skies of the Theatre

Join us for an engaging artist talk in celebration of the upcoming exhibition Christian Hidaka: Theatres of the Sky, Skies of the Theatre, opening on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the Buk-Seoul Museum of Art. This talk will explore the unique position of contemporary painting within the broader history of visual art. Christian Hidaka, alongside collaborators Anthony Bodin and Akira Taniguchi, will introduce their latest works―including a large-scale mural created during their stay in Korea―and reflect on their process and practice.
