Mathieu Latulippe lives and works in Montreal. His recent research focuses on questions related to architecture and urbanism, and more globally, on our way of inhabiting the world and living together, as well as our relationship to technology, nature and environment.

서울시립미술관에서 운영하는 레지던시 프로그램 으로서 난지한강 공원 내에 유휴시설을 개조하여 2006년 개관하였습니다. 국내의 역량 있는 미술가 및 연구자를 양성하기 위한 지원프로그램으로서, <난지아트쇼> <비평워크숍> 등 전시 및 연구능력을 계발하는 프로그램, 국제화 추진을 위한 국제 레지던시 네트워크 활용과 다원화 된 교류를 위해 국제 입주작가 교환프로그램, 국내외 미술 전문가를 초청한 강연회 등을 운영하고 있습니다. 지난 2009년까지 난지미술창작스튜디오는 국내 젊은 작가에게 창작공간을 지원하고 작업할 수 있는 여건을 제공하면서 창작 스튜디오로서의 기반을 다졌고, 2010년을 기점으로 전시, 연구 및 학술, 교류로 세분화하여 체계적으로 지원하고 운영함으로써 프로그램의 면모를 갖추었으며, 2012년부터 다양한 프로그램을 운영하는 국제적인 레지던시 기관으로 발전하고 있습니다.
