Support & Nurture
We operate various projects to support and nurture art and culture.

As a public art museum, the Seoul Museum of Art operates various projects to support and nurture art and culture, with the objective of advancing the development of the Korean art field, expanding the foundations of modern art, and enriching the cultural enjoyment of the city’s citizens.

The Seoul Museum of Art operates a specialized initiative by linking projects that support emerging artists and art production at SeMA Bunker and SeMA Nanji Residency as part of the “SeMA Triadic Support Program” with expanded opportunities for emerging artists to take part in lectures, workshops, and exchanges as common features under the Triangular Program.

To facilitate the understanding of museums and exhibitions among citizens, the Seoul Museum of Art conducts the Docents training project and operated the Citizen Curators training program from 2015 to 2022. In addition, we are presenting the SeMA-Hana Art Award with Hana Financial Group to support promising critics and media art artists.
