■ Exhibition
Selected for the [2025 Emerging Artists and Curators], Seoyeon Park’s solo exhibition The One Who Chases the Dot unfolds within a wuxia universe shaped by SF fantasy and Eastern narrative structures. Through this imagined world, the artist explores the underlying order and logic of human life, metaphorically suggesting a world as it ought to be.
At the same time, the exhibition presents a narrative that follows the question: What do we believe in, and where are we headed? It delves into doubts born from life’s contradictions, the mental process of trying to understand complex situations, and the beliefs held by vulnerable individuals as a psychological defense against anxiety.
