We operate various projects to support and nurture art and culture.
Introduction

dianaband understand sound and sonic environments as the mediatory presence of communality and ecosystem, practicing listening, making, and sounding as methods to connect with worlds beyond the human. Engaging in the process of listening-responding in a world dispersed without a center is an inquiring journey to contemplate with whom and how we shall connect here and now.

The solo exhibition Conversation about the ROOT (Seoul Museum of Art/SeMA Storage, 2021) proposed relation-listening within a sonic environment where incidents occurring among objects form a community through sound and movement. This was followed by the serial work of building object ecosystems, Dots, Speaking Nearby Dots (Coreana Museum of Art, 2022), expanding the scope of listening to countless ’dots’ encompassing space, matter, and environment. The soundwalk performance Heading Ears, Flowing Steps, Unfolded Thought (Arts Council Korea, 2024) develops listening devices that pay attention to the passive and situated nature of relation-listening and proposes a communal listening to the incident-world guided by endlessly dispersing consciousness and steps along Hongjecheon Stream in Seoul. In the form of workshops and talks, they continue their practice through Radio Worlding (Ururu, 2025), a communal project researching sound and networks that reimagines radio as an environment, and the gathering Cloud Workout Done (Ururu, 2024), which performs autonomous and distributed network practices.
