An artist based in Seoul, the practice explores the secrets of the material world through baking, centering on the ongoing project “Geological Bakery.” Imagination about nature―such as traveling to the beats of the earth or geologically climbing the mountains of Seoul―is expressed through baking.
Solo exhibitions include Tectonic Movements on the Table (Ansan Building, 2025), The Taste of Granite (Hapjeongjigu, 2021), and Geological Bakery (Factory2, 2019). The work has also been presented in numerous group exhibitions including Secret Recipes Baked in the Earth Oven (Seoul Science Center, 2025), Drifting Station (ARKO Art Center, 2025), Zagare Fringe 2025, This, Too, Is a Map (Mediacity Seoul, 2023), The Extraordinary in the Ordinary (Suwon Museum of Art, 2023), and A SUPER MODERN PROJECT (Kiss Art Mile, 2022).
