Cha Ji Ryang has been working on ways to become a complete individual by utilizing media between individuals and systems. His first solo exhibition was The Expressions to move (2008). He was invited by Arko Art Center and presented Midnight Parade (2010), and Temporary Enterprise (2011) was created with the support of SeMA. He showcased New Home (2012) at various film festivals, K-refugees series (2014~) at Festival Bo:m, and BATS project (2016~) as National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and Arko international exchange programs. He introduced BGM (2018) and Only people who decided to leave, can see everything (2019) and shared his memory of personal experiences of time and space by organizing them into sounds and light. This work was presented at the SONGEUN Art Awards. He has spent time staying in various regions at home and abroad, and is living his life to realize the transpersonal dream (ideal) that he achieved through Inner Vision. He recently announced his solo exhibition Dream Pop (2022) at d/p, and currently runs Living Room (2023~) in his personal space and spends time sharing about the conditions under which art occurs.
