The Seoul Museum of Art main branch is a space within which all may meet and experience the joys of art. Located at the heart of Jeong-dong, a district bursting with traces of Seoul’s modern and contemporary history, the museum integrates the facade of the former supreme court building with modern architecture. In addition to diverse programs-spanning exhibitions, educational outreach initiatives, research, screenings, workshops, and performances-the museum features exhibition galleries; SeMA L, an educational space open to all that also serves as a place for relaxation; shared public spaces; a cafe; an art bookstore; and an outdoor sculpture park, creating multiple pathways to diverse artistic experiences.
