This program was produced as a series of four radio episodes and aired between November 2021 and March 2022 both on- and off-line through SAVVYZΛΛR, a radio program of Berlin’s SAVVY Contemporary and radio stations in Berlin and Potsdam. New episodes will be created on the occasion of the exhibition. The previous episodes invited a wide range of speakers who have been active on the sites of social movements around the world since 2019. Artists, curators, musicians, social activists, and former government officials were invited and talked about the role of media platforms during the political crisis, the establishment of cultural and artistic spaces, labor unions in the arts and culture scene, and censorship and distribution of films. The invited speakers shared their individual experiences and local situations, trying to engage in intersectional conversations. The new episodes will expand the previous conversations, centering on ‘poetry’ and ‘songs’ as languages to generate shared sensibilities.
